Q1.What materials and specifications are available for your quartz tubes?

A: We mainly supply transparent quartz tubes, opaque quartz tubes, and UV quartz tubes. Regular outer diameters range from 2–120mm, wall thickness 0.5–5mm. Lengths can be cut as required, and non-standard customization is also supported.

Q2:What is the maximum temperature resistance of quartz tubes?

A: Transparent quartz tubes can be used continuously at up to 1080°C, with a short-term temperature resistance of 1250°C. Opaque quartz tubes have similar heat resistance with better thermal insulation.

Q3: Are quartz tubes resistant to acid and alkali corrosion?

A: High-purity quartz has excellent chemical stability and is resistant to most acids and alkalis, but not to hydrofluoric acid, hot phosphoric acid, or strong alkaline solutions. Please avoid contact during use.

Q4: How about the light transmittance of quartz tubes?
A: Transparent quartz tubes have high transmittance in the UV-visible band, suitable for UV sterilization and optical heating. Opaque tubes have low light transmittance and uniform heat emission, mostly used for heating and drying.

Q5: Can you provide processing such as sealing, flaring, grinding, and bending?
A: Yes. We support one-end / both-end sealing, tube flaring and tapering, outer wall grinding, bending, drilling, and other deep processing. Customization is available according to drawings.

A: They are widely used in semiconductors, photovoltaics, electric light sources, heating equipment, laboratory instruments, water treatment UV sterilization, chemical reactors, and other fields.

Q7: What is the difference between quartz tubes and glass tubes?
A: Quartz tubes have higher temperature resistance, extremely low thermal expansion coefficient, excellent thermal shock resistance, higher purity, and aging resistance. Ordinary glass tubes have poor temperature resistance, are easy to crack, and cannot be used at high temperatures.

Q8:Are quartz tubes easy to crack due to thermal expansion and contraction? 
Quartz has an extremely low thermal expansion coefficient and excellent resistance to rapid heating and cooling. It is not easy to crack during normal temperature rise and fall. Avoid sudden temperature changes and hard impacts.
